6th September

A few hours seawatching produced at least 1 sabines gull, 3 blue fulmar, 29 sooty shearwater and 5 manx shearwater. A rather dissapointing morning with just 3 willow warbler, a fieldfare and a garden warbler, but a spell of excitement late afternoon with a wood warbler, the first blackcap of the autumn at the Observatory and a common rosefinch in Gravity thistle patch. 3 more willow warbler and a garden warbler were also seen in the afternoon.
